If someone told me...

...last year at this time, that I'd be sitting in a chair at the baseball field watching the boys at their first 2010 practice IN MINNESOTA. I'd have laughed.

Real hard.

But here we are by the grace of God.

{with wind gusts up to 50mph!}

It's been a long year, but short considering all things accomplished.
With the start of another season of baseball it's as if life wasn't interrupted at all;

considering we were uprooted for eight months 987 miles from home-
But that's just the way He does things, right?
God is good

  2. Your adventure and baseball in the spring remind me of God's promise of restoration - the following two quotes are uncanny as to your blog thoughts !

    Dad

    God, who shows you his kindness and who has called you through Christ Jesus to his eternal glory, will restore you, strengthen you, make you strong, and support you as you suffer for a little while. (I Peter 5.-10)

    Every day is a new opportunity. You can build on yesterday's success or put its failures behind and start over again. That's the way life is, with a new game every day, and that's the way baseball is ( Bob Feller Cleveland Indians )
