Yes, I'm talking about the backpacks. There some sentimental value here I'm tellin' ya.
After my oldest went through two backpacks between just kindergarten and first grade I'd decided to stop droppin' money on cheap backpacks and hit the internet looking for indestructable backpacks. These were bought many moons ago and survived two boys Kindergarten through fifth. Not one broken zipper, loose strap, ripped lining or broken buckle. In fact, they would've headed off to fifth and sixth grade next fall if it wasn't brought to my attention that - "we're too old for these mom". Must be those patches I added 5 years ago.
Drat.
New, bigger and blacker Jansport packs have been ordered on sale.
