Sunday Snapshot~ farewell.....

to baseball season 2012.

the Lil' Lady's sticky ipod from which she watched countless hours of Super Why and Caillou.....
the chairs that lived in the back of my Ford for the last 3 months my "score pad". I will miss them all. I am sad, and already thinkin' about next year.
these boys played well. better than well. i'm so proud. it was a lot of games i tell ya, i lost count at 42 games between the two of 'em.
and like last season, Lil' Lady should get something for near perfect attendance. she sat patiently through entire games, and even cheered those boys on at times. here she is schmoozing sibs of her brothers teammate.

our oldest had many hits and not just with the bat. he was nailed in the face, hand, side and in the back twice this season and even had a dog go after him when he retrieved a foul ball!

good times though, good times.

and of course, could steal around those bases before anyone knew what was happening.

in the end his team didn't quite win the championship, but they sure had fun tryin'.

we had some great coaches this year, hopefully we'll get lucky again next season.

Sunday Snapshot~ Our girl turned 3

our lil' lady loves kitties. she should, she has 7 runnin' around this joint. they were all here when she came home and she's grown up lovin' on them and roughin' them up. most are getting up there in age as we've had them for the past 17 years, but they tolerate her so well. i think they were all quite surprised when they realized they were raising another toddler!

so her 3rd birthday party was to be a kitty party. this lucky lady had two parties this year, her grammy and poppy planned one during our visit to Tennessee which you will see soon. we just got back from our trip and have a lot of pics to show! the picture above was our birthday dinner out here, unfortunately she bit her lip while scarfin' her pizza, hence the tears!

of course the First Lady was all about it.

their first chore was to lap up the "milk" from their food dish. considering our second detests milk, this WAS a chore. he got in a few licks though for his sister.

i think someone pulled our seconds tail.
the phone was a gift from grandma and pop pop. the First Lady who thinks she's old enough to have one herself, said.......
"even she gets a phone?"
