I'm in Denial

That my youngest, my little girl, has lost her first tooth!

I don't do loose teeth. I could barely handle my own when I was a kid. No one was allowed to touch it and it would literally hang by a string until it fell out on its own. In the classroom, the kids know that loose teeth gross me out; they delight in showing them to me.

So I told her this story when we realized that only yesterday morning it had come loose. I told her it could at least be a week before it came out. So what did my stubborn, sassy daughter do? She yanked it out herself....this morning. Now I know that thing wasn't ready to come out yet, but she wasn't havin' it :)

  2. Hee hee...so cute! Wiggly teeth are kind of strange, I agree. ;) Emma is sort of obsessed with wiggly teeth (she has older cousins) and she comes to me often to try to show me that her teeth are wiggly...hee hee. :) I added a few doodads around your new little one's pic in the left column and I put a little text graphic over the pic. PLEASE feel free to change it back to the way that you had it if you so desire...totally fine with me! ;) So happy for you...have a great day and God bless, Tera (although, it'll look like YOU made this comment because I'm logged into your Google account...hee hee).

  6. That sounds EXACTLY like something my Tongginator would do. And I must admit that loose teeth gross me out completely, too. Fortunately (or not - heh) I didn't have too many loose teeth when I was little... yep, nine of them had to be extracted. Such a benign sounding word. I am not looking forward to when the Tongginator starts losing them next year or so.

  7. Now that is a personality right there! I love it. I have enjoyed nothing better than watching my own little girl's personality develop.
