HERE.

We made it.

18 hours, a U-Haul trailer, 3 kids, a dog, 6 movies, 40 pieces of Bazooka Joe, 2 hotels, 12 pit stops, $56 in tolls and 5 milk shakes later, we're here. In Minnesota.

We arrived Saturday morning to find the town house we had rented occupied. After some profane words and a few tears we were offered another unit within the same area and were moving in within a few hours. It ended up being in a much better location with a balcony overlooking the play area. There's a reason for everything. Other than finding ourselves homeless for a few scary hours, there were only a few other glitches- like the dog who apparently won't poop out of state and the absence of a WalMart Supercenter. Thanks to Pop Pop on the internet we were able to locate a WalMart 12 mi. away. Perfectly worth it considering the grocery stores are rather high. The dog however is still adjusting.

Much more to come later, but since it is a Wordless Wednesday I can't help but post these.... the close of her third and last day of school as a kindergartner back home before moving 987 miles away. Just a bit too much to handle for a 5 year old, don't ya think??
